Chocolate Trifle

1 box German chocolate cake mix, made according to pkg. directions
2 lg. packages instant chocolate pudding mix, made according to pkg. directions
16 oz. cool whip, thawed
1 pkg. toffee bits
1 Hershey chocolate bar, shaved into curls

Cube half of cake and put in bottom of large trifle bowl. Spread half of pudding over cake. Spread half cool whip container over pudding. Sprinkle toffee bits liberally over cool whip layer. Repeat layers, topping with toffee bits and chocolate curls. Refrigerate several hours to overnight.
