Chocolate Scotcheroos

from Mom's Recipe Box

1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. rice krispies
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. butterscotch chips

Combine sugar and syrup in a 3 qt. saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring frequently until mixture starts to bubble. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Add rice krispies, stir until well blended. Press into greased 13 x 9" pan.

Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in double boiler or microwave, stirring until just melted. Spread over rice krispies mixture. Cool until firm.
