Snickerdoodles

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Add to butter mixture, beat until combined. Mix 2 T. sugar and cinnamon in small bowl, roll dough into balls and roll in cinnamon sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees.
